    Garmin Xero C1 Chronograph

    Greetings McB’ers.

I came across this Garmin chronograph and would like to share. It is pricey. And I’m glad it mentions paintball (we are a relevant sport).

Thanks for sharing this but, $599 for a chronograph....

...I thought $300 for a "Big Red" chrono was expensive. 🤦‍♂️

It's very worth the extra money. I've used one, and it is far more accurate then anything else on the market. It also records each shot and sends it to your phone via Bluetooth, so you can shoot a bunch and then compare data sets afterwards. Yes it is pricey, but it's justified, especially if you are anal about tuning things in perfectly.

As cool as it is, I think I'll keep an eye on shop goodwill for one in a few years.

Myrkul since you have used one, do you know if there's any kind of minimum distance past the Chrono the paint has to fly? Like if this thing was directly in front of a catch bucket would that still allow it to read?

I don’t think you will find any used in the next few year
              He was just borrowing mine
The Garmin is a LabRadar killer

As for minimum distance we tried it shooting into a small box 3 feet away and it still worked

The gun forums I follow swear by this thing. It's huge in the firearm community.
