well you can get 17k and 1k cine camera now

well where can you use this. when we only 4k on market and 8k tv out there but cost to much

IMAX, and other high def theaters. I work with 8k projectors often. 17k is getting out of hand but it opens up the possibility to reproduce fine detail in scale. Think tiny handwritten font expanded to display on the side of Sydney opera house. The client won’t complain about the font being pixelated. “Clients will find the smallest mistake and talk shit”.

Corporate A/V, large tech clients use them in their conventions and company events. I work in sound department but often side by side hanging speakers next to double stacked 8k’s. Double stacked 8k projectors are sick 😷. The problem is they are very power hungry. The 17k projectors come out for things like James Cameron or Meta events.

Large scale LED walls are becoming more common due to the ability to work in broad daylight.
