Ebay lost max Lundqvist's NYX Matrix: Need eyes in case it pops up

Hey, last April I sold Max Lundqvist's old NYX Matrix on eBay via their International Shipping Program and the package disappeared at their IL intl shipping hub. With the jersey and everything pictured below. Thankfully Ebay ate the cost and refunded the buyer who happens to be an old Joy Division player out of Sweden/ Czech Republic that wanted to re-purchase it for Max as a gift. But still... it really sucks.

It was lost in late April and I have been keeping an eye on CL out of IL but nothing yet. The marker does have some distinct marks. 1) it has sticker sunspots throughout the Punisher Skull:

The Boomstick has some weird tip rub ano-wear that is whitish:

And the bottom of the body has "#76" and "Maxximus" etched (no pic). Other than that it;s just a plain old tri-fade (first gen) NYX with the external eye wire looped in front

    Here's the marker:

In the unlikely event that you guys come across it, please notify me.

    Kind regards,

    Max

Wait? They lose the whole thing? Not just the gun but that entire case?

Either way, man that really does suck. Needs to pop up eventually

No, not the case. It was too expensive to ship so we decided to just do the gun and the jersey.
Hopefully it will although who knows. There’s an old thread on PBN on some really rare stolen Aardvark matrices that never popped up. And its been 20+ years by now. Those guns are worth thousands each and are pretty distinctive. So I’m managing my expectations lol.

        thanks

          That’s crummy news. 😕

For what it’s worth I’ll keep my eyes peeled.

Not too long ago I was receiving a rather heavy package from Denmark, and it seemed to disappear in Atlanta. After a few weeks I e-mailed the store I bought from and they sent a replacement which promptly arrived in 3 days. Two weeks later the first package finally showed up. So there is always the small sliver of hope. Either way I'll keep an eye out for it.

Yeah, you never know, although the Ebay rep on the phone was basically like "oh no not again..." like this is a recurring issue. The package arrived at their facility on April 24-25. So it's been 2+ months. I guess you could say it wasn't lost during transit, it arrived where it was supposed to go, they lost it at their warehouse. It's highly likely that it's gone. Although I'm not sure what the protocol is in case it's found? technically it is not stolen because the customer paid, eBay lost it, and then eBay reimbursed the buyer. It's ebay's liability/asset now. And they just write it off as a capital loss in their taxes. Legally speaking: Ebay owns it now. I just think it's sad that it was "lost". But if Ebay finds it, I dont think they would even notify me as I am no longer the owner? Or notify the buyer in case he still wants to purchase it?

But I really do think that it was just flat out taken out the back by someone in that warehouse. Most likely someone that's not even a paintballer.

Edit: This is the USPS tracking number by the way: 9410809105464061721226

I've had three issues with that eBay shipping hub in the last two years with paintball things. One showed up three months after it was lost with like five shipping labels stacked over each other. Recently I tried ordering a wgp cocker and it sat at that hub for a month only for them to reject it saying it couldn't be shipped international by law, even thought the collected duty up front on it. Seems like whoever works at that hub are not the best at their jobs.
