Good morning All. I’m a new member to this site. Looking for anything dp. End goal is to bring dp back in one way or another. Yes it’s a long shot. Though I’m new hear I’ve been in this industry for a while. Just took a long time off. I originally made the dual 9 volt battery option for the dye rotor way back in the day. All sold on pbnation. I’m in the wholesale tire distribution industry and have my federal firearms license. So yes I do sell firearms on the side. Have a great weekend to all.

DP guns can be good shooters and they should've been bigger. I barely remember but didn't they have quality control issues that held them back?

A agree. Basically pick up where they left off, change things up a bit, focus on customer service and quality control. I can’t get into specifics. As of now, working on ways to fix past issues for those that already own a dp product.

DP was like the ICD of the 2010s. Good bones, bad regs. I do feel the changes from the G3 to the G4 and G5 made the platform worse and worse… but a G3 with a TechT bolt and upgraded reg is one of the best shooting budget guns out there.

Yes. The g3 specifically and I feel like a lot of their spools in general. Every poppet I've had from them has been very good.

The problem is the g3 sold like hot cakes because of its price so the stigma of all DPs being unreliable stuck. I think by the time they got to the g5 the problems were mostly resolved but you can't wash off that stigma as quickly.

Op, what's your plan for bringing back DP? Or are you trying to buy DP markers?

I know there’s a lot of people out there that currently have issues with their dp guns. I’m working on a few ideas but again, I can’t divulge too much info just because of how early this idea is. I have been buying a few dp guns. I need to make sure legally I can do what I’m doing. If I can’t bring the company back, I’m looking to have something that will help dp owners old and pre owned going forward.
