    48ci vs 36ci

I am considering replacing the 13ci tanks that I have in service with either 48 or 36ci carbon fiber tanks.

Does anyone have examples of the above sizes that they might be able to take photos of the tanks next to each other or photos of the different sizes on the same marker?

The 13s have been great to me, but the field we have been playing at likes to run multiple games before returning to air up and a few times it’s been a little tight. They offer 4500psi fills so why not go up a size or two and play all day on one fill.

I’ve always felt anything over a 45 is just too bulky. These would be going on sterling’s, snipers or phantoms.

i dont know about 1 fill for the whole day, I guess it depends on how much paint you shoot, but Ive been getting ~500 shots on my 36ci/4500 with powerhouse tko reg outputting 400psi into this sniper regged at 320 i just built. I dont think the compressors at my field ever give you a complete fill but the proshop is close enough you can top off between games.
while my goal has never really been "1 fill for the whole day" , thats usually how it turns out. Most days I dont even shoot the whole bag of paint.
More important to me is keeping things light and tight. besides stock class, this is the lightest and smallest (height wise, side to side and length) setup I see at our field. Maybe my buddys t2 is slightly smaller.
I love the way the whole thing balances and "points". it doesnt put the back of the gun too close to my mask and my pump arm doesnt feel too close or far away.
before putting together the 36ci, i used 68/4500 tanks and never noticed them being too big or heavy but now, id take the 36 over them any day. i have yet to run out of air midgame so, until i get caught short, im running the 36!

I don't have anything meaningful to say about this conversation, but I will say that if you're only getting 500 shots out of a full 36/45, something is wrong.

yea, i always go home with leftover and run it out foolin around in the woods out back.
so i dont really know how many shots im actually getting off a full tank.
and like i said, our field almost never gives you a full fill anyways!

I've gone one fill for more than a day with a 77ci and Emek. I just don't shoot much. But I'm currently without a semi auto or a 77ci anymore, got a SL2 45 to run on the pump for similar reasons. Don't have comparison images, I know the 36 is really tiny. I have long arms so I use long body regs and probably a reg extender depending on ASA.

FS 17ci 4500 HPA tank is all I use now. Pump and light semi play they are super narrow so you can play tight they are just the right length, weight and balance is perfect.

There is also a 13ci if you want short.
