Wow 😳 rings the door bell and everything.
I had a 20” wheel come off my car. Cheap ebay lug bolt snapped off at 80mph off my rear thank god. Ripped threw some brush went up a drive way about 200” hit a lip in the driveway launching about 5” in the air and folded a 2 car garage door in half.
So make sure your lug nuts are OEM or spend the extra money for name brand. That China metal is junk almost killed me. Crazy thing was I was late for work the day before and had the car at speeds that probably would have killed me if it came off that day.
It all worked out insurance payed for it. Adjuster said it was totaled. But I bought it back after putting it on the alignment rack and it wasn’t even out of alignment. Drilled the old lugs out and put new H&R in and a new wheel. I been driving it for going on two years now got like grand into the car.

I think my favorite part is how it snaps through the porch column like a match stick. Imagine what that could do to your faceDulce et decorum est pro comoedia mori

I've seen a few videos of this on the internet. It's... lethal. It's so amazingly specific. Like, those poor saps were JUST in the wrong place to be hit by less than a foot width of 50# of mass at 65 MPH. I know statistically that's bound to happen, but it really makes one think the universe can have it in for you.

I lost my spare tire going down the road one time. The cable holding it under the bed broke off the little bracket holding through the rim. The back of my truck went several feet in the air as the tire came off and it ended up rolling up into some people's yard and crashing through their porch skirt.

I'm pretty sure I had that happen on my old van. I was on the highway going through downtown Toronto, felt the backend jump around. Looked back to see what might have caused it but saw nothing. About a month later I needed my spare, that's when I found out it was gone. The line had snapped. I sure hope no body got hurt from that. It was on a raised section of the highway so if it went over the edge it would have fallen quite a bit.

think about what that little tire just did, and then think, while your tailgating that semi in front of you, or the semi that is doing 68 down the interstate while you linger by the tires doing 68.25 mph, the massive damage that could do.
Ive seen the damage of a tire off a trailer, roll thru the media
go through another truck cab and embedd itself 35 foot into a loaded trailer
real scary crap right there

Holy crap. Man cars are going like 55 mph in that little street? And the guy just looking around like "WTF?"... epic.

I wonder how hard it would be to get the insurance to cover something like that if you didn't have video proof of what happened.
I had a tree fall in my yard and land on a fence some really heavy rainy days. The insurance company came out and tried some BS saying that I must have done something to "disturb the soil" making the tree fall over roots and all. They ended up dealing with it, but they tried everything they could to not.
