Man. Walzmas means a lot to me. Having been given the opportunity to have a Walz. I get the generousuty behind the name that is walz. Walzmas is honestly a time where we can all strive to be as awesome as Walz for a few weeks. It's a time when a whole bunch of strangers I like to imagine are my friends do some really nice things for each other.

Walzmas means the opportunity to give away some paintball stuff that i don't need or use anymore and someone else can do something with it or enjoy it/pass it along to a new player/etc. After winning my own Walzmas creation from Mr. Walz himself - it has made me more generous in my giving each year. This forum is great and the folks i've met through it have all been standup players and fun to talk to.
This is Cowboy our rescue saying bye to the boys when i drop them off at school.

Multiple winners on this one. 5 total. Look at the pictures and then decide which one you want. Included in this giveaway is a custom woodland anodized prototype body. It is completely empty, but any of the 5 Griffins could be part swapped to make a truly unique mech STBB. So if you are the 1st winner selected, you can take

Walzmas is an opportunity for the paintball community to show it's true colors. There are tons of selfless people in the sport that play for reasons more important than winning a game.

This forum, and really the people on it, have sort of kept me going on the paintball scene even during my down times. Walzmas brings out the sense of community that keeps me involved year after year. Being able to meet up with, and support people from the forum and community feels great.
I have attached a picture of Willa (Wilhelmina) a cat that we fostered and ended up keeping. She was deemed too scared to get adopted, but she ended being a nice cat at our house.

Alright…quick update….
I was SUPER sick the past week, so I’m a little behind. Luckily JeeperCreeper was able to do me a solid and cut the breach hole for me (and he fixed the safety).
As of now, it is a functioning, leak-free single shot! But not quite done…..
Things to do:
1 - square out the back of the breach for FSRs.
2 - add O-rings to the “new” bolt and add the pull knob
3 - add the retainer for the tip-insert
4 - rough polish and patina
I doubt it’ll all be done by the 26th, BUT more than enough will be done to shoot the contest, I’ll just mail it out when completed.Last edited by JeepDVLZ45; 12-24-2023, 10:00 AM.

Walzmas encourages good deeds and cheer, both within this forum and in my personal life, as I have often "spread the wealth" with anything I have received. It also has inspired personal giving to friends and strangers beyond my usual level. Paintball stuff is just stuff (beautiful piles of stuff, like a dragon's hoard) and while that stuff can be put to use making great creations, it can also be gifted to bring some joy in the world (rather than just sit in the hoard). I have not done many Walzmas contests but the spirit has moved me to targeted acts of generosity I may not have done otherwise (or at least not at that scale).
Here is my sink cat. He tries to be graceful and regal looking but often gets... Mixed results.

Walzmas is a time to give, of course. But in giving you also help people feel good about themselves & have a happier outlook on life. That’s important, especially after the events of recent years & if one encounters tragedy and sadness during this time.
I don’t have a giveaway this year, as I don’t have anything cool to give. But I am green. And a picture of my absolutely adorable pupper duppers.

OK, since the retainer isn’t done yet, I can’t really do the contest…yet.
BUT as a teaser, I had Nora set up about 15 yards from out wooden “gnome”, and set my runcam2 on its nose….then she pierced a fresh 12-ie and let a few roundballs fly! Notice shot #3….you can see it just to the right of the red nose in the pic…
Anyway….it points well and gets velocity!

She is a decent shot, and getting better. She was just a little high on the first couple shots. We’ll see how she does when someone is shooting back at her!
A little after the video. I explained what snap shooting was annd why you do it. She asked me if she could practice! She started popping out from behind one of the trees shooting at the gnome. 😂. Ended up dumping about 60 or 80 rounds down range.
