Alright my peeps. Its finally here, the season of giving on our beloved forums. Last year was a weird one for me. Being too busy early on in the season, I was late in my givings.
I also won a beautiful single shot pistol made by JeepDVLZ45 while on vacation, This was days after finding out my mother passed away. That being said, I intend on re-giving Jeeps beautiful work eventually, but I want to use it an additional year as I've built some strong sentimental attachment to it. This is my constilation offering.
Being as I am not as talented, as some of the other members. I utilized many MCB channels to make this give away work.
So my offering. The Cool Cat, as I have dubbed it. Is an Alley cat that was gifted to me in a past Walzmas by SSniper13 . I added a bevel to the bolt face, drilled the VASA out, and added a bolt shim to help with paint rollback. I procured the .45 grip from ramagupa . the vertical grip ftom DocsMachine , and a new stock barrel from Myrkul l. I also got an aluminum Automag feed plug from superman Then KMDPB came through in an amazingly clutch moment. Knowing I was trying yo make a Walzmas offering worth owning, he offered to Anodize, and freak bore it for me. Everyone say "Thank You" KMDPB for his contribution to my giveaway..... Lastly I 3d printed a clear cat grip out of TPU (Its not clear) and added clear .45 sweetheart grips.
I just played most of the day with it last weekend to say my goodbyes, and it shoots pretty darn well.. It will currently pinch some really oblong balls in the bolt if they fall just right, but I plan on shaving the bolt shim a smidge to prevent that. the barrel liked to work itself lose also, but I currently have a tank o ring on the shoulder which seems to have corrected that. I will also not be including the freak insert. It takes standard inserts. it WILL include the Armson feedneck that compliments the foregrip well. It needs at least 700PSI input to run on HPA.
