    I broke what bone?

...and the winner is the first guess of the contest! DieManinTheRough correctly guessed the Zygomatic Bone, also known as the Cheek Bone.

I broke the Left Zygomatic Bone, picture is reversed in the mirror.

I highlighted the 3 clues in the post.

A few days after my birthday (10/21), I fell and broke a bone (first bone break at 68 yours old).

Somewhere in this post there might be 3 clues putting you close to what bone got broken.

So which bone did I break?

Must be a specific bone, instead of a general guess like "a finger", try "right index finger metacarpal" (that is just an example, and is not a clue), and keep an eye on the thread, as we want to avoid guesses of the same bone.

The prize is a Dark Carnival Headband, it says "16 of 25" on the metal tag. I want someone to use this as opposed to it sitting in my equipment bag (I don't use headbands, I have an Empire Beany that gives me full coverage). It will ship free (CONUS).

Just to add insult to injury, a few days after the incident, I was visiting my Sister. We were sitting at her kitchen table, and her cat was laying on the table in front of me. I was petting her cat, when suddenly she jumped up and smacked me right below my eye! (the Cat, not my Sister).

Included is a picture of the offending Cat, looking insulted (she has the eye of a wild thing!)

This contest ends when someone guesses correctly the specific bone, or the end of November, whichever comes first. If no one guesses correctly by the end of November, the closest guess will win (closest physically).

...and since there are over 200 bones in the human body to choose from, I'll let you have 3 guesses....

A break in the zygomatic bone? That cat looks like it would smack you again for being mad about being smacked the first time.

I was gonna say that. (Native Alaskan's call it an Oosik, and Walrus oosiks can be 18" long. )

              Doc.

                      1. I'm guessing the elbow end of the ulna. I do not know the specific name for it.

                      2. A rib on the left side of your body, the fourth one from the bottom.

                      3. A rib on the right side of your body, the third one fron the bottom.
