I've considered multiple ways to handle this one, and as much as I enjoy sharing with my MCB brethren, I'd like to spread some positivity outside of these forums. Here's the deal:
I have here a custom made Jordan left feed pump boy. (Details to come.) This thing is COOL!
Per Jordan (below):
"The deets on the pump:
Handmade pump handle - source material was a piece of KP stock from Bacci.
Brass body made from Sheridan barrel stock. Internals are 11/16" Cocker - SR Delrin valve, light springing (I think it runs around 350 psi or so), hammer, threaded IVG. Handmade bolt consisting of an Empire Ressy front and 3d printed rear half... quickstrip slot cut into the top of the backblock.
Brass cocking rod, brass pump rod, potmetal Mag frame converted to swing frame (takes any single-hole grips).
Barrel is slipfit, retained by a pinchscrew setup similar to a Blazer, and is made from .680 Titanium stock.
This is essentially the prototype for my current pump I built this summer. Still works great, just not 100% refined yet... I think Jonnydread would call it "janky". 🙂"
I've had it about a year and never had the chance to air it up. I will ensure it is firing before shipping, even if I have to get someone to help me. (though I imagine it works fine... Jordan built it, after all.) I've brought it with me to games, but it's never gotten it's turn in rotation before the end of the day. Rather than let it continue to collect dust, though I really did want to shoot it this season, giving is about sacrifice.. so here we are.
How to win:
Starting today, donate to a charity of your choosing. Something you care about. Show proof of donation. You don't have to post it publicly, but also, I'm giving you permission to show off your good deed without judgement. For each donation I will give you a spot in a raffle. Each donation amount will get your a different number of entries; see below..
Donation value:
< $10 - A pat on the back, you've done good today. No entries.
$10 - $25 - 1 Entry
$25+ - $50 - 2 Entries
$50+ - $75 - 3 Entries
$75+ - $100 - 4 Entires
$100+ - $150 - 5 Entries
$150 + - 7 entries.
If you donate a toy, animal food, etc etc... show me a receipt with the value of the donated items and they will be applied the same as cash.
My vacation starts on 12/14/24, which also happens to be a month from today, that's what I'll call the deadline! I will add to your name to the list below and number of spots you have and use a random number generator to determine the winner. If you make a charitable donation this week for one value and another in three weeks, you can absolutely be added to the list twice. As long as it's before the deadline and proof is shown.
If you're in Canada, you can still play, however, if you win, you'll have to wait to receive the marker until I see Alexndl (usually May), who is gracious enough to get it over the border for me.
More pictures to come.
