Ok, got everyone signed up to here. I need everyone who has already signed up to go back to the top and read through post #2. I have the charts up for each marker. Take your time, ask questions if you have any. Game likely won't start until Thanksgiving
Also keep in mind, because I use Tapatalk comments don't show up automatically for me. I'll try and log into the web version here and there to check on comments but it's a better idea if you want me to see it to just make a post instead of a comment

I'm not really sure what you are asking. Let's say I choose the 98c, I started with 700 paintballs and want to attack if the dice come up 1 then I win and gain 200 paintballs (keep in mind, initiating the attack costs 100 though) . So at the end of that turn I have 800 paintballs. The next turn (the next week) you can choose a different action. So if I'm running low on paint, I can choose to search for paint which doesn't cost any paint to start but could end up costing me paint if things go wrong
I wanted to play just to play, but by no means do I need more gear as a prize so I'm saying good luck contestants! Looking forward to watching your rolls play our.

If you happen to win you can choose where the prize goes

What does "aff" and "dff" mean, in the charts?
"out" in the chart means I'm eliminated?
At any time, I can "return to cargo" to replenish paint/ grab a new gun? How does this affect my next turn?
AFF = attack firefight
DFF = defend firefight
Basically for a AFF you are attacking and initiating the firefight, hence the better odds.
DFF you are surprised and defending yourself, hence the lower odds of a favorable outcome.
You can choose a AFF as an action. Not a DFF.
Defend position (DP) is separate from DFF in that you are choosing to stay in place which is why it's a choosable action
You can choose to return to cargo any time you want (as a turn) doing so always rolls in the return to cargo column regardless of how much paint you have. If you are successful it is a complete reset, 700 paintballs and a marker of your choosing
Yes, out always means you are eliminated
This game is very much you vs. the odds. If the dice come up that one player is eliminated and another player wins a firefight I will write the story that they faced off but in reality you are simply trying to outlive the other players and beat the odds to stay alive
I just did a trial run with my brother. It worked well but ended up much longer than I expected. So, who knows, maybe that was a fluke, I kind of hope so
