              If I select a T15 how does the sniper shot work. Do I attack as normal and a 1-3 on the die is considered a sniper hit

                  Nothing wrong with a good old Tippmann, although for role playing purposes/aesthetics I'm definitely grabbing a Pro-Carbine and not a 98 (98 Stat Block). I scoop one up, dead sprint to the back right corner, and conservatively start popping shots off to see if I can catch any of these attackers before they get to a bunker (Defend Position).

                    Yes, if you want to attack a 1-3 results in using 0 paint and gaining 100 rounds. Any other number throws you into the normal AFF column, you use 100 rounds and the outcome is whatever the dice say

That reads like a get out of jail card. That said- I can accept Out being Out, I would just like some clarification 😄

                        Yeah no problem.

                        So after starting the firefight is simply that let's say you select attack, that costs you 100 paintballs. Those paintballs are now gone. And let's say that brings you down to 200 paintballs left but your parameters for escape are anything under 300. That parameter now kicks in and you use another 100 paintballs to run away. You are left with 100 paintballs but are still alive.

                        That ability is something that can kick in after the firefight has begun, not after it's concluded. Me rolling the dice is the conclusion because then it's a known outcome

                        In a lot of cases there are in the charts things like rerolls and outcomes that lead to a DFF. In the case of a reroll that all happens in the course of one week without your input and each reroll costs paint because it starts the firefight over again. The ability of the ma-deuce-a gives you a way to have some control over when to cut your losses and run instead of me continuing to roll and you potentially running out of paint and facing a 50% chance of elimination for an out of paint escape roll.

                        Assuming you tie your escape to the amount of paint you have, just keep in mind that getting into any firefight costs 100 and using it's ability costs another 100 so you will need to burn 200 total and don't have any chance of gaining any paint when that happens
