Nice contest and great prize! god, those were the days. I thought this would be easier, but it turns out everything that came to mind was just before or just after it! then i remembered this one which was hard to escape in 98': Offspring, The kids aren't alright.

Dang, there were a lot of good songs in 97-99.

I will say Aqua - Barbie Girl

I will totally understand if you veto it, though.

Changed my mind because I didn't read the thread at all. If you see this, great. If not, we reap what we sow.

Since all the music I listen to would immediately be banned from a 4 year old lets go with Britney Spears- Baby one more Time

So I am going to give a suggestion but I do not expect to win since I would imagine that it will not be played at the dance party.

Yeah, not going to make the rotation, but an A for cultural relevance!

Another that probably won't get put in the rotation.
                      I can haz feedback?

I figured as much. There was a lot of great music between 97-99, but much of it wasn't four year old friendly. Candyass was a great album from start to finish, but it was, in my opinion, the only good Orgy album. Amir and Ryan went on to form Julien-K, which is great. This far from a complete list, just what I can think of off the top of my head before brain fatigue set in.

1997 - Rammstein - Sehnsucht - Another great album from start to finish.

1997 - Deftones - Around the Fur - Again great album from start to finish.

1997 - :Wumpscut: - Embryodead - And another great album from start to finish.

                        1997 - Switchblade Symphony - Scrapbook - A great EP.

1997 - Switchblade Symphony - Bread and Jam for Frances - More good stuff from Switchblade Symphony.

1997 - The Prodigy - The Fat of the Land - RIP Keith!

1997 - White Town - Women in Technology

1998 - Velvet Acid Christ - Calling ov the Dead - Yet another great album from start to finish.

1998 - Marilyn Manson - Mechanical Animals - It's no Holy Wood, but it's still a great album from start to finish (especially the finish, and yes you do see a pattern in that I tend to like whole albums rather than just select songs).

1998 - Pearl Jam - Yield - Not Pearl Jam's best album, but still pretty good.

1998 - God Lives Underwater - Life in the So-Called Space Age - The album that GLU found mainstream success.

1998 - Smashing Pumpkins - Adore - The first album without Jimmy.

1999 - Bush - The Science of Things - A great album, and arguably the last great album from Bush.

                        1999 - Blutengel - Child of Glass - Blutengel's great debut album.

1999 - :Wumpscut: - Boeses Junges Fleisch - Yep, another great :Wumpscut: album.

1999 - Switchblade Symphony - The Three Calamities - Even more good stuff from Switchblade Symphony.

1999 - Velvet Acid Christ - Fun With Knives - More great stuff from Bryan.
