The last paint I shot was paint I snuck in to a field and it was a literal freakin’ cube. Lesson learned… don’t be cheap and buy fresh paint. I’ve also never seen a cube paintball before this.

Last paint I used was so egg shaped that one way it would slide through my smallest insert, and the other direction would barely fit through my largest insert....

The sadness one feels when you cycle your Sniper and then just watch the ball just drop out of the barrel on to the ground is real. Double sad when you are already using the 675. 😰

That sadness is only surpassed by firing a blank when you had a perfect shot because you didn’t see the rollout.

2nd last event of the year at my local field, My Fields paint options are Killabees or Toxic, so i cheaped out $5 went with killabees, every bag was oily AF. By the end of 2 games my revvy and cocker were so gummed up was almost blending everyball , I decided to leave for the day. Spent the afternoon toweling off paint at home, to semi salvage it, but man I miss Early 00's paint...

I shot a try hard player in the face while trying to snap his butt out. The paintball bounced and landed in his jersey. After the match he walked up to me and told me this is the ball that I hit him in the mask with. He showed it to me then dropped it in his hopper and told me it was for me for later. Not gonna lie. It was a cool move and I was kinda jealous I didnt get to do it to him. I kept my eye out for him for a while. Never saw him on my sides of the field and I got shot a ton... bounces galore. Still a fun day.

I have a better one. I was doing a quickdraw duel with Havoc. I shot him in the neck, and he caught it with his neck. Then, he proceeded to take the undamaged paintball, load it in his pistol, and fired it back at me.

Lmao. Same idea. Not as cool as loading it into a pistol duel for sure. The guy was very intent on shooting me out for sure. It was fun all around.

Played a 5-man pump event on the first.
Paint was DEFY recreational: winter fill

.675 was a loose fit (at least on the narrow side of the football), so perfect for these inserts.

All day long we were shooting corkscrews and had paint winging off randomly. Tough in a pump event.

The last time I played, about a month ago, it was 40-45 degrees and the paint I was shooting was super brittle. I overbored my barrel cause it was a rare instance when I wasn’t using my phantom. Had I been using my phantom and paint matching I would have needed smaller than my .679 insert. Every game I was getting barrel breaks and having to clean mid game and after every game. I did however manage to bunker someone with the “shotgun” effect and splattered em head to toe. Either length would work for me if I won.

Last time I was out I chomped down on a ball for old time’s sake, but the flavor just wasn’t the same as the delicious paint I remember from around ‘07.

The amazement of shooting a double barrel freaked bored at the same size and only one barrel makes kinda sense shot ... And it's not always the same side 🤣
Double barrels are ment to combat craptastic paint 😅

Just yesterday was playing at Santa Ball in RI and most of the rounds were either really tiny or oval...between misfeeds and balls popping in the barrel I was lucky to hit anything. I will say that using my new T4E TS68 was interesting...Scored an elimination with the first shot and then proceeded to have the next 4 rounds blow up in the barrel, was fun but would have working better I think with better paint....Gimmie some good ol' Gator Ball damnit!

My availability to go play is so limited I'll only buy good paint. BUT I do shoot quite a bit in my backyard with reballs, and recently when Fab stopped by we tested a few markers, but he wanted to shoot paint. The only paint I could find was a random white box (practice paint) from early 2000, this was the worst of the worst. Shooting chewed up gum balls. photos to come

I have a 5" version, this is a great insert! I use it all the time in my OG freak bored UL barrel

2 years ago at supergame my whole team for set up for the Friday game. I was the first to pull out my barrel and size paint, it was small. Everyone else just asked what insert I was using and did the same. The rest of that day went fine. The next day the morning was fine but as we got into mid day everyone started breaking paint. By the afternoon it was really bad. We were all back in camp talking about it, the next day we are packing up and as I pull apart my barrel it hits me. I grab a ball and put it though the insert I had been using all weekend. Sure enough, it was now an extreme underbore. None of us had remembered that really basic, check your bore idea.
