I can also vouch for Siege. Good place. I'm hoping to get back down there at least once more this year.
Is Apoc still doing OK? I haven't been there in maybe a dozen years.

Solo recovery workout this morning. Lighter weight, and I did split these into two groups and did supersets.

I'll have to come over to Siege sometime and check it out, I haven't played at any other fields yet, just been dong to the one closest to home. Heading down to Chicago next month to watch the NXL event which should be a blast though - maybe that'll inspire me to drive farther to play on some fresh fields

How was it coming back after a more-than-decade-long break away from it? I was surprised at how little guns have actually changed and how big mechanical and mag-fed stuff has become. Everything had moved away from mechanical when I left the sport and now mechanical is it's own thing, and electros are rarely allowed to shoot over 10.5bps...wild to think we were shooting 20+ back in the day
Yeah, it's crazy. I think it's really cool that mech has grown in popularity again. Still have my old bushy that could do 20+ on a good day, and picked up an 07 ego recently as well (along with a bunch of other goodies).

Do it! I'm usually there most Sundays and Wednesdays. I'll actually be at NXL Chicago all 3 days! I snagged a media pass and am also playing 7man mech and 3man.

Nothing too crazy today, just 10 minutes of yoga and 20 minutes of upper body isolation lifts.

Workout today with trainer, squats and deadlifts. Just working sets today. 3 sets of 6 x 185lb squats, and 2 sets of 6 x 185lb sumo deadlifts. Then some "tempo" deadlifts to failure.

    Weigh-in Friday: 288lbs

Gonna try to make a weekly weigh-in. Overall I am concerned with my weight. I know I am severely overweight for my height, and I'm getting to an age where it will start to cause other issues. However, as I've mentioned before, I want to focus on strengthening my body before I commit to big calorie deficit. From 2014 to 2015, I was able to go from 255lb to 200lb fairly quickly, but it didn't last and I felt weak. I don't want to feel that way again.

The weight is already coming off. I'm down 12lbs from early March already.

Had to cut my max deadlift attempt short, ripped open a callous and started bleeding. Got up to 6 x 275lb though.
