    The Cosmere

Making this thread for people who have read any/some/most/all of Brandon Sander's Cosmere works.

Background: The Cosmere is the universe in which a bunch of Sanderson's works take place. The Cosmere works include...

Mistborn - Six novels (Three in the Era One trilogy, three of the eventual four in the Era Two quadrilogy), a couple of short stories, and a novella.
Stormlight Archive - Four novels as of 11/17/20, out of an eventual ten, split into two five-part series), plus a couple of novellas so far.
Elantris - A standalone novel with a related short story and a tangentially related novella.
    Warbreaker - A standalone novel.
White Sand - A series of three graphic novels.

And then a few standalone short stories/novelette/novellas. Each of the above major series, and each of the standalone shorter works, takes place on a different planet within the Cosmere universe, each has it's own system of magic, etc, but there is extensive communication between all of them. A fun game to play as you read is to spot the "worldhoppers" - the characters that move between worlds - in each work.

So...anyone else jump down this rabbit hole. If you haven't, but you enjoy high fantasy - Lord of the Rings, Wheel of Time, etc - do it. It's absolutely phenomenal. An incredible ride, so far, and it's only about half done.

There are still six stormlight novels, at least TWO more Mistborn series (Era One is typical high fantasy, Era Two is wester/steampunk, Era Three will be modern, and Era four will be a space opera), plus some followups to Elantris, Warbreaker, and the other shorter works. Just an incredible universe to dive into.

    Anyone else?

I love Sanderson's works! Absolutely a dive worth taking for anyone who hasn't yet, or for anyone considering delving into the universe. I'm currently reading through Arcanum Unbounded as a lead up to Rhythm of War since I reread the rest of the Stormlight Archives earlier this year. Really looking forward to ROW and Dawnshard, and after those I believe he is dropping another Starsight novel and then the 4th Wax and Wayne if I recall correctly. I love the universe that he has crafted.

Dawnshard was really good, and had at least one WOAH reveal. Really looking forward to Wax and Wayne 4. I think your timeline is right and that's 2022...grumble.

Read the Mistborn series on the recommendation of my son in-law and enjoyed it; an interesting take on "magic". I have yet to try any of his other works but willing to give it a go in time. While I enjoyed the stories sometimes the writing takes some leaps like there was supposed to be some other details that got edited out at the last minute, one of the reasons I had not already moved on to some of the other stories. The down fall of reading fantasy/scifi for over 40 years you start to pay attention to little details that decades before you would have overlooked.

Update: Rhythm of War was incredibly good. And really moved the ball downfield towards the book 5 resolution.
