Tells us those "you had to be there mannnnn" stories. Be discriptive please. Don't just say "saw the Dead in 89 at alpine valley and the patking lot was crazy"! Yeah no s*** XD.
My favorite was seeing Roger Waters This Is Not A Drill Tour in the round at the united center. Pink Floyd is in my top 3 bands of all time. Behind Canned Heat and Black Sabbath at the top. Could not get my hands on any psychedelics and I really did not want to try and buy at the show and get something that was not what was advertised. Had some really potent MDMA pills and did 2 for the first time (and only time).
I will never forget when the anouncement said the show will start in 20 minutes and the E really started taking affect. Just had to breathe easy. Forgot to take my gum with me inside so cut up my cheeks at bit. Lol. I think my favorite part besides the confortably numb intro (the girl singing was beautiful) was his new rendition of The Powers That Be from the Radio Kaos album. That riff just f***** slapped. The older guy sittting next to me had a very sour look on his face when during Another Brick In The Wall I did what any Illinois bred boy would do. "HEY, GACY, LEAVE THOSE KIDS ALONE, ALL IN ALL YOUR JUST A ANOTHER KID IN THE CRAWL" XD
Had a wild time getting home. Ran into a old hippie in a homemade Phish shirt and a wheelchair. Show got out late so my green line train was long gone. Was gonna push him to the red line and I was heading to union station. A man and his wife pull up and offer us a ride free of charge. He seemed sketchy but whatever. Hippie gets off at the red line and I ask the guy if he would be kind enough to take me too union. He says "fuck it get in" obviously not happy. I told him I would pay him. Had $40 in my hand when all the sudden he just pulls over and says "get out". I do but I realize I have no clue where I am. I start too say "hey this is not unio...." and he peels off.
Im handling the e fine still so I don't panic and just start walking. Ended up going the wrong direction and just stopped at a white castle and called my roommate who ordered a ride for me. Luckily the area I was in was a legit ghost town. Besides a guy who pulled up asking me if the doors to the white castle were unlocked. They were not so he had to use the drive thru. Gave the uber the $40 since he was a chicago local and he had to drive all the way to glen ellyn to drop me off. I don't go to chicago anymore. XD
