i need to clean up space in my 256 SSD drive which main drive for C drive. so can i move itunes from music to e drive and not be able to have computer to add it back to music folder in C drive. i also have about 150 cd to re download to itunes too. and can not have in C drive music folder too.

You should be fine, just make sure you have enough space total on the drive you want to move it to.

i found out why it did it and need to find out how to move it the files so do not have double count of them now

Yes.
I'd do a backup first. In place of D drive use your E drive.
Then:- Copy the entire iTunes folder from your music folder to D:\iTunes.
- Click the icon to start iTunes and immediately press and hold down the shift key. Keep holding until asked to choose or create a library.
- Click Choose and navigate to the file D:\iTunes\iTunes Library.itl
- Check the library is working properly.
- Use the option File > Library > Organize Library > Consolidate Files to import any stay files to the new library folder.
- Delete the old iTunes folder on the C: drive.

i okay i told it twice not to use C:drive and keep resetting it self to C:drive so after i do so many downloads i just move to E:drive where told 3 times so far to go there. but after 2 time did not know went back to C:drive. i move it all over to E:drive times third time did not see went back. so i just going to load up in C:drive and after 20 cd going to me to E:drive other then at only have 88 cd left to do
