Anyone else cut the cord of the major cable providers and go with IPTV instead? I know I did a month or so ago for good and I've been enjoying it so far. Current set up is Netflix, Stremio (whole other topic on it's coolness) and a subscription to iptv-pro.ca for $20 so total cost is about $30 a month for TV and movies

Yup cut the cord way back in summer of 2011 when I was laid up at home after a long hospital stay. Realized I was paying a crap load of money for very little enjoyable content. It really helps that I am not a watcher of most sporting events on TV (UFC fights are the exception) so cutting the cord was simple. Currently we are Amazon Prime, Netflix, Plex, IMdb, Tubi, XBMC(Kodi), HDTV antenna (my wife likes the Patriots) and other assorted free APKs when needed. In addition I already had a large DVD/Blue-ray collection and still occasionally browse 2nd hand stores for content usually $1-2 ea.
Used to love XBMC(Kodi) but got tired of keeping it up to date so really do not use it anymore. Recently Plex has released TV/Movies free to Plex server users and I am finding it is being used more and more.

I agree with you on Kodi, I got so sick of trying to keep the various addons etc up to date it seemed almost weekly. Dumped that years ago and moved over to Netflix. Honestly was pirating the popular shows like Walking dead and GoT and using streaming sites for UFC etc. if I knew I could sign up for just the channels I'd watch as literally a channel and not a pack with 6 others IDGAF about then I'd go back to cable again. IPTV I know most of the content I won't watch but it's so cheap that I hardly care lol
