Just picked up Ark for free on Epic right now, and made my 14yr daughter an account. We played over the weekend. We had a blast. She kept asking how to do things and I was like, I don't remember. She says, "have you ever played this game before?" I responded with, "yeah, its been a while. You were 2!"

I didn't realize Ark has been out for that long already. Wowzers.

My family just picked it up this wkd for free as well. I have yet to spend time in it, but it looks fun.

It's changed a bit since I last played. It very fun, my favorite crafting/survival game of all time (mainly for the dinos). I'd recommend turning up harvest rates and taming rates a little before you create your island. Otherwise you'll spend a literal hour taming the big dinos. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Finally finished Horizon Forbidden West. Quite enjoyable, I ground out a bunch of upgrades before finishing which wasn’t the best idea. Now need to find something else to play.
just picked up Kirby and the Forgotten Lands on Switch for the kids to play. Really fun so far and the kids really enjoy playing it.

To keep it rolling. I started a new play through of oblivion. I always was warrior classes in old ES games as the combat system is typically cumbersome, but this go around I started a Brenton Spellsword. Having fun so far shooting fireballs.
Man it moves really slow though. in like 2 hours I got out of the sewers, and got the amulet of kings to Jueffery. Looking forward to making some custom spells.
I also forgot how unforgiving the old es games are with disease. I was fresh out of the sewers and q mud crab game me swamp fever. I instantly had to ditch a bunch of gear I intended to sell for profit.

good times, oblivion was my first foray into the elder scrolls. one of my buddies gave me his ps3 copy because he had no idea what he was doing, I played it and was hooked.

Oblivion is still a game I love. I’ve not played in a while, but will jump in again once (if, ever?) SkyBlivion is finished.

I have had an Xbox for 5 years and never finished skyram

Just fining up the Modern Warfare 2 campaign and I have to say the game is really bad ass and looks great. I’m hopeful for the multi player the last few have been turds.
I am having some crashing issues but overall the game looks and plays fantastic. Lots of sneaky sneaky action playing threw on veteran has proven to be very difficult I like it. Hard to imagine you can unlock a harder mode.

I told myself I was gonna get off Elden Ring once I beat it & play something else... Yeah, that didn't happen. It's just so good, lol.
Started a second character. Playing a mage this time. I strongly dislike mages in most medieval-style RPGs, but it works for me here. With my first character (STR/FAI build) I found myself using my crossbow way more than I anticipated I would. So I thought I'd try a caster. Working out pretty well for me so far. Limgrave & Weeping Peninsula are done (still have to beat Godrick), and I've been adventuring in Liurnia.

brought my vita to work last week and have been jumping between papers please and the binding of Isaac.
I just started papers, please and I'm just way too slow still but I'm getting the hang of it until they keep throwing more crap at me to do. I'll keep at it before I flip on easy mode for the extra $20 a day.
in Isaac I'm just starting my hard playthroughs, have most everything done in normal.
god of War ragnorak comes in 2 days, ill be jumping on that when it arrives. still have to go back and beat that stupid valkyrie queen in the last one as it's the only thing I have left to finish.

I know I'm a few years late on this, but Pokemon Go.
My kid got into Pokemon cards when they were handing them out in McDonald's happy meals so I got a brilliant idea and downloaded Pokemon Go onto my phone so he could catch pokemon and play with the AR. Well it's 5 days in, the wife downloaded it and is thoroughly addicted, I make sure to keep my phone in my pocket when I go for runs to hatch eggs and yesterday my son and I were driving to different gyms and pokestops to catch as many Pokemon as we could (It was minus thirty C, forgive us for not walking). If my kid sees Pokemon on the map, they're getting carpet bombed by pokeballs until there's nothing left. And after the kid drains the daily supply of pokeballs and goes to bed, mom and dad battle each other with all the Pokemon he's caught for us. Probably going to download the Switch Pokemon Go just to try it out.

So Elden Ring had a PvP update. The three previously inaccessible coliseums are now open for arena battles with other players. Duels, free-for-alls & team battles are available, along with the ability to toggle spirit summons on/off. I’ve only played one game so far (3v3 team w/summons) and it was more fun than I expected. Absolute pandemonium with spirit summons in the mix. I typically despise PvP in Souls games, but I can see myself going back to that. But I’m sure some sort of meta will develop & make things not so enjoyable after a time, but I might play it for a while.
Otherwise, I’m still working with my battlemage. Limgrave & Liurnia are done. Not sure if I’m going to Caelid or the Altus Plateau next.
