So I finally set up my CRT & old consoles in the old entertainment center. I love playing on original hardware. Iβm currently playing Super Metroid.

Looks like you could use a system selector. One of the best things about playing original hardware on a CRT is the ability to play light gun games. Lots of good ones on PS2.

homerj Yeah, Iβm a fan of the CRT. I donβt play light gun games but I love sprite art games, especially old JRPGs. Nothing makes them shine like a CRT.
My brother is bringing me a system selector when he visits next. Might have to buy a second one though, as I have more inputs than what his selector has. Eh, Iβll figure it out. I do have the olβ RF input option, lol.

Dipping my toes back into Fallout 4 (XBOX) . . . I blame the Fallout series on Amazon which I highly recommend.
EDIT: Also Supernatural VR on the Quest 2, easily the most engaging and fun fitness videogame I've ever played -- I mean they have a whole Metallica artist series of boxing and "flow" workouts.

bought a gaming GPU just so I could play helldivers 2. "Starship Troopers the game" is on point. Most of the best weapons you have early in the game, there's no pay-to-win element, PvE goodness... and the glitches are mostly endearing - like getting rag dolled half across the map. The difficulty settings are kind of odd, though. It only gets challenging at 7 (of 9).

I've been loving this game... until whatever changes they just changed happened. the game went from being pretty hard but fun, to just being hard. I dunno what changed but I played last night for the first time since they had a big patch and...i did not have fun. I hope they fix things because until then it was a blast!

I don't know what to tell you. It still seems easy to me until 2 titans and a charger show up at the same time and I'm soloing without turrets. Still doable. 3/1 or 2/3 and I'm probably hosed. The hunters and stalkers can still gang up on me at any time. It's under a premium warbond, but the Blitzer shotgun is great against bugs; area of affect, knock back, inf. ammo, decent ROF... it's great. Just keep your team behind you at all times.

Fallout 4 again for obvious reasons. I'm doing different things this time, like extreme settlement building, and a lot of wandering around.

I always over fortify the settlements. Then they never get attacked.
I think it's a balancing act between getting either your water or food production number high, and keeping your defense number below that threshold to get random attacks to trigger.
But man is if fun to toss deathclaw spawn grenades on the perimeter of my settlement, and watch the turrets shred it in seconds.

Also, my other favorite thing to do is to het the local leader perk so you can run supply lines. Then build hundreds of automatons as your supply mules. It's fun strolling the wastes, then hearing a conflict off in the distance. When you approach you see your robot just shredding raiders up.

I have turned the Starlight drive thru into a hotel and bar, that's my main settlement. I have to pull the screenshot from earlier as I was looking down from my penthouse suite, I saw 2 Deathclaws fighting each other.
I've definitely sunk time into trade routes this time, makes settlement building easier.
Although, with this new update, it keeps crashing randomly. I don't have any mods either. "It just works"

Within the last two weeks i finished up Spider Man : Miles Morales and started and finished Spider Man 2. If you played the first one or was just more if the same. It was nice being able to switch between Peter and Miles in #2 with the different skill sets. Story was interesting and left plenty of unanswered questions for the next installment. Time to jump back into Fallout 4 and finish up my missing trophies.
