    my 2tb g shock hard drive keep making restart computer

    was trying to move photo from g shock portable hard to another drive. twice it would stop moving to folder to new drive. so i tried on my desktop and laptop. all i get now when in hook up to desktop or laptop is this. blue screen saying i have to restart computer. then get question about doing something to drive or restart desktop or laptop

      Im not sure about the initial error or file transfer, but it seems the pc is trying to boot from your ssd. I would be inspecting the CMOS settings, and confirming the boot device is set correctly.

        Try booting the pc without your drive attached. Then plug it in after the boot.

          Is this a USB drive or is it connected via SATA?
          You might also try an external drive dock. Of the ones in that link I would probably go for the Thermaltake or Sabrent. I have an IcyDock unit currently and it works with no issues that I can recall, and has for a number of years.
