They released a trailer a year ago. why do people have expectations of another one? I'm sure as things get closer, you'll release some more stuff.
Video games have really been terrible during release in the last few years, so I'm absolutely alright with things taking longer as long as it comes out correctly.

I agree regarding new games being released buggy & unfinished. I normally wait for games to get a patch or two. Although out of all the companies, Rockstar has a very good track record of releasing quality, polished games from day 1. Especially when you consider how big and complex the GTA open-worlds are. Then again, people gave CDPR the benefit of the doubt with Cyberpunk, since TW3 was a competent, polished game — and look what happened. It was more or less a shit show for a year or two before the big 2.0 overhaul patch. It’s always better to wait a bit, IMO. Until the first reviews. And definitely never pre-order. Although a game like GTA could be one of the few exceptions for me.
My problem though, is that I don’t even have a PS5. I’m strictly PC these days. So now I have to wait and see if it takes them a year or however long to release the PC port. I am tempted to buy a PS5 just for GTA. But I will most likely wait.

For sure there will be a PC release, the question is when. In the past, its taken them about a year to release the GTA PC port.

I've inherited an xbox now that I really don't use very often. I might hook a mouse and keyboard to it and play GTA when it releases for consoles.
on PC, I did play with a controller until it came to shoot anything then I'd switch to mouse and keyboard. I can't stand aiming with sticks; i'm horrible at it.

Check out the Azeron Cyborg took some getting use to but I will never go back to keyboard Lobster Clawin it for movement.
Aiming is so much more natural and faster with the mouse. I can run my sensitivity ultra high and still get excellent precision.
I play a lot of Apex Legends and Trying a Run for Apex Predator next season after I get my 2k fiber service gets installed in a few months. Haven't had much time to game (don’t mind the dust) but with winter coming I usually play a lil more. I’m curious how much a 10x faster connection will make.

Each finger has micro switch flick (back)(forward) and (Down) Thumb operation of WASD keys. You can program any key stroke to any of the switch’s. It’s got its own software that’s super easy to use. It takes a bit to setup each game but you can save 100s of pre set profiles. It’s super fast when you get use to it.
It’s all adjustable from angle, sensitivity, dead zone.
Two different size palm rests, fully adjustable finger switches so you can set your hand on it naturally with 0 fatigue.
Mine is the smaller one but you can program like 30+ different key functions not including double click / key options. They have one that dose even more.
When I switched over to PC I disliked the way movement keys were laid out. Made my hands cramp up. I played on an Elite Xbox controller for a while but my aim and reaction speed was too slow to be competitive with the controller. So I got the Azeron for the best of both worlds. Controller like joystick movement with lightning quick mouse aiming precision.

interesting, they should do something similar with VR. That would be pretty cool. The new upcoming Valve Index 2 controllers look inferior:
