    Phone screen protector options

Ok, here's a bit of an odd one. I'm hoping you guys might have an idea or two for me to consider.

Recently got a new phone, Motorola edge. I've always liked the Motorolas, the only down side seeming to be the charging port wearing out. I have yet to manage to kill one and I never run a case. I do however always have a screen protector. This new one though there's a problem with that. It's called an edge because the screen wraps down the side of the phone a bit, here

I was hoping to run a plastic screen protector like I normally do, I find the tempered glass ones just shatter the first time I look at them funny but with the screen that wraps down I haven't actually found any plastic ones I imagine because it won't stay on.

My wife had a "liquid" screen protector put on her phone but the more I look into those it seems they are more snake oil than anything

So, do I try a tempered glass one again, try a liquid one or just say screw it and go without? Or is there an option I haven't considered out there?

This is the problem with the curved edge screen; using a screen protector that fits correctly is basically impossible. I'm under the impression that they're only good to protect against scratches.

I recently damaged my curved edge pixel 7 pro screen by dropping a large battery pack on my leg at work; just so happens my phone was in my pocket. A replacement screen alone cost more than the phone was worth. Curves screens are also very expensive, it turns out. a lot of the "new" model phones have gone back to a flat screen for this reason. I suspect they also might be less prone to breaking due to glass tension.

Liquid glass helps more with scratching than cracks. That said my customers who use liquid glass swear by it, and its definitely better than nothing, although you're certainly paying for it (our liquid glass is even more expensive than our already expensive tempered glass protectors)

Maybe I will give it a shot then. I'm not too worried about cracks, this is something like the 6th Motorola I've had in a row and have yet to crack a screen. I'm not exactly gentle with them either. My last one survived multiple falls out of my semi truck so Motorola can apparently design a good screen.

I think I would prefer something I can replace but if that's not an option next best is next best.

        What's "your" liquid glass?

I'm also interested in this liquid glass. I've got a cheap glass protector on my phone and I hate it. It doesn't fit 100% correctly, and it absolutely ruined the touch capability of the screen.
