Does anyone else feel like season 5 was meh. I feel whelmed.

Yeah, didn't grip me the way other seasons did. New Bad Guy and his son just don't come off as that believable to me. The whole [spoiler]"we just blew up all the earths and everyone is pretty much totally fine with that"[/spoiler], I mean I get that the lore justifies it, but I couldn't buy it based just on the acting and writing in the show. I'm sure the book handles it better.
Kinda like the big spinny mormon ship. They stole/salvaged it, and the mormons are totally fine with that and we never hear from them again? If they are fine with it, surely you'd at least show some mormon mentioning why? There's a whole plotline begging to be told there around radicalised mormons (they have reason for at least some to drop the pacifism thing, surely) getting aggressive against the belters. They have the money to build that thing, I'll bet they have the money to build or buy a few combat ships. And if not, it needs to be covered why. Like maybe they're broke now and have lost most of their followers when the big project failed, or whatever, but it's just left hanging.
