    I made a papercraft wargame

Just getting started really - I got sick of 40k rules so came up with my own.

If you have teenagers you want to spend time with and/or are poor and into scifi, you're my target market.

In terms of the rules, it's a proof of concept. It's a card activated system with minimal dice rolls and stuff dies quick. It's somewhere between Bolt Action, and, um... Clash Royale It's designed for 30 minute games, until you crank up the army sizes at which point it'll take longer, but still be manageable.

I'm looking for feedback before I invest any more time in it. I haven't actually put any money into it yet, at all. Not even a domain! I also have yet to playtest this version. It's certainly broken. I need people to playtest who have never seen the rules before. My next task is to make an explainer/intro video anyway, but in the meantime, can you help? I have yet to post it anywhere else.

And I don't have a monetisation strategy yet. This version with the greyscale starter pack witll always be free anyways. High quality/res/colour units and special units will be paid eventually, but only once I can devote more time to upping my game. There is so much wrong and missing and difficult as it stands, like for example there's no real guide on how to put the models together. You just have to figure it out until I get round to it

Fuck it, I'm in. I'm doing some 40k at my FLGS saturday but I'll take a look and shop it around since we play everything. I'll find a place to print out two sets of everything so I can get some practice in with friends and we can get you feedback.
I could have sworn I had something important to put here...

      Much appreciated!

I just realised the photo is of an older full colour version- I changed it to greyscale for the starter set. Maybe bust out the marker pens And, I recommend some blu tack or something similar to weigh things down once made.

It's all 1/72nd scale so feel free to substitute models.

Gotta reiterate that the rules are super alpha. If you have to come up with on-the-fly solutions or rules to things that aren't clear, that would be worth knowing.

I'll occasionally post concept art and updates here, because why not.

          That’s cool you designed that.

This one's my avatar - it's a ruined cityscape in one of the shard's fertile valleys deep enough to maintain an atmosphere. Below it, through the shell, a cavern the size of Saturn.

            Cheers

If you want to use proxy models like cups or toy cars, it's all good. The papercraft is a little time consuming. I'm designing for 1/72 scale so anything with tanks or mans in that size is good to go.
