Eric Withakay would prefer to keep the majority of the fighting as far away from the village as possible.

While it would be nice to have them come to us, I think we are pretty intent on bringing the fight to them... however foolish this may prove to be.

Plus, unless they are led by an absolutely berserk Neanderthal, the chances of them abandoning their fortified position is slim to none.

Eric still hasn't quite figured out that this isn't the Rockseeker we were seeking... even with the introduction.

Is there anything interesting or exciting to be found on the two Redbrand fellows?

Eric is most interested in upgrading his short swords to a rapier and scimitar, so either such weapons are his top priority... other than that, Eric is always looking for reading materials (on literally any subject), and obviously arrows (not bolts).

Gold/gems/etc are handed to Pique for fair distribution, for no other reason than Eric's natural trust of Gnomes versus pretty much anyone else. Most likely accompanied by a comment on how a Gnome has yet to do me wrong... 50/50 chance it includes a warning not to be the first.
