Milling Equipment at Auction - Manhattan, KS

I noticed that KSU has a few pieces of milling equipment in an upcoming PurpleWaveAuctions. I know nothing about this stuff other than its cluttering my hallways.

If the link doesn't come up for you, search for purple wave auctions. On the auction site put in KSU.

Just curious... is any of this stuff worth having?

    That is all.

Most of that looks like 440 or 480 volt equipment. Make sure you can power it if you buy it.

These were in the teaching shop in the engineering basement. They might even be three phase. I have no idea.

I really posted this to let other members know about these items. It is still early, but I suspect the price will be low enough that shipping might be viable.

un2xs they will definitely be 3 phase. Converting single phase into 3 phase isn't that bad for the smaller motors (2-3 hp). The stuff that's 480V may be able to be wired for 240V you'd need to look closely at all the motor tags to be sure first.
