I'm leaning towards grabbing a newer(to me) motorcycle. I'm more a dual-sport/off-road motorcycle rider. Last street cruiser, I owned/rode, got quick parked in a turn, after miscalculations in the apex, of an unfamiliar country road "bend" were made. 🤦♂️...some bones were broke, some were just chipped and/or cracked. I said a few four letter words, got the bike off me(leg pinned) and said a couple more four letter words, picked up the bike and said/thought a lot more four letter words. Unknown to me at the time, my scapula was broke/cracked completely in half and explained why the hand worked but, not the arm (one of the hardest bones to break...ppfff, easy peasy 😏). Managed to restart the engine and made my way home. But, I digress...anywho....
Looking at a 2011 Triumph Thunderbird Storm with 16k on it, for $4000. Is it worth the $4K? Should I stick to four wheels or two feet and leave the street bikes alone? Should I just keep looking for a good Dual-sport?
