I should have updated this thread.

Ended up buying a Sea to Summit Trek bag in the 30 degree wide version as my primary sleeping bag.

FREE SHIPPING & LIFETIME GUARANTEE. If you've ever wished for a less-constrictive sleeping bag that keeps you comfortable in a variety of cool-to-warm conditions, the Trek may become your go-to bag. The Free-Flow Zip system allows you to open the bag sequentially for ventilation up to the point where it is opened flat as a quilt - you can even secure the snaps around your shoulders, open the footbox zipper and 'wear' the Trek around camp. 650+ fillpower duck down with a non-PFC Ultra-Dry Down treatment keep you insulated in damper conditions. Slip an Aeros Pillow into the hood and enjoy a great night's sleep - wherever your travels take you. Features RDS-certified, 650+ fillpower duck down with a non-PFC Ultra-Dry Down treatment to stay drier in damp conditions Includes a recycled 20D polyester shell with a non-PFC DWR finish blocks wind and moisture, while the polyester liner provides pure comfort. Free-Flow Zip System offers great temperature regulation and multiple sleeping bag configurations Semi-rectangular fit is designed for spacious comfort when you're camping or traveling Sea to Summit Guarantee is offered for the Lifetime of this product

It’s substantially lighter and packs up smaller than my older sleeping bag, but it’s wide enough I can comfortably roll around in it at night.

I also picked up the sea to summit spark liner for either really warm trips or as additional warmth inside the trek. It’s a little tight around the shoulders, but weighs almost nothing and packs down to only a little bigger than a pop can.

FREE SHIPPING & LIFETIME GUARANTEE. If you're counting grams, but still count on a great night's sleep, the Spark may be the right bag for you. Filled with RDS-certified 850+ fillpower goose down treated with a non-PFC Ultra-Dry Down treatment, the Spark is constructed with a technical hood and zipper draft tube to retain warmth. Comfort comes from a super-breathable 10 denier liner fabric, while a 10D shell with a non-PFC DWR plus a highly water repellent hood and footbox fabric shed wind and condensation. The full-length zipper model can be zipped to an equivalent Women's Spark for comfort that couples can share Features RDS-certified, 850+ fillpower goose down with a non-PFC Ultra-Dry Down treatment for maximum thermal performance Ultralight, breathable 10D nylon liner and a 10D shell with PFC-free DWR keeps the hood and footbox highly water resistant Technical hood, anatomical footbox and an ergonomic mummy shape - ultralight doesn't have to mean ultratight YKK #5 zippers with zipper plow provide reliable, snag-free operation Baffle construction specific for each use: Sewn through for lighter weight (7°C|45°F), Hybrid box baffles in torso/sewn through in leg area (-1°C|30°F) or full box baffles for maximum warmth (-9°C|15°F) Sea to Summit Guarantee is offered for the Lifetime of this product

Between those two I should be pretty well set for the immediate future.

      Another update:

Spent a couple of nights on the superior hiking trail with temps down into the mid 40s at night and I was very happy with the Trek sleeping bag.

It was a good balance of warmth, room to stretch out, and being packable.
