The collection has grown to where just keeping them with trigger locks in various bags as well as the ammo storage was getting cumbersome. I am still going to use all the required trigger locks but I have the option now to slap a padlock on there too.
Rather than shell out $500+ for a safe or flimsy cabinet from Cabela's, I found an old gym locker for $100 locally on FB and made my own. Total project cost was a little under $300.
Lined with grey felt from Temu and some carbon fibre peel/stick, on the outside, it cleaned up well. The only tools used were a dremel, table saw, drill, and palm sander.
Motion and light-activated LED strips added under the shelves. I was on the fence about the stickers but I had a bunch and I thought that I would use them up as well.
Foam rifle rest from Amazon. Holds 5 rifles and is magnetized so I can move it around if needed.
No real risk of tipping over but I am going to strap it to a stud in the wall behind it and maybe add some sort of hooks or baskets for bore snakes etc on the inside of the doors.
