Thoughts on 90° Swivel Fittings?

I was looking at getting these 90° swivel fittings with 1/8 on both ends to use with QD fittings and braided hose since I hate macroline. Any experience with these extreme rage ones in particular? Any better options out there? Something rebuildable would be nice.

I bought some of these from I&I sports and they failed on first gas up with lots of sticky stuff being blown out of them. My guess is they have urethane o-rings that die with age? I couldn't see an obvious way to rebuild them. I just use QDs since those can spin on their own.

That's too bad. I'm looking to be able to have the male QD on my mag point in different directions.

These swivel fittings looks great, and I enjoy them on my markers - until they inevitably springs a leak. The keyword here being "inevitably". The o-ring at the swivel will fail, and increasingly fast with age and wear - i.e. if you swivel the fitting while pressurized. So there is one strain on the o-ring that you can mitigate yourself.

Regarding age - as far as I know, those fittings haven't been manufacured in quite a while, which means that all stores that have them in stock are in fact carrying quite old stock, even if it is still in unopened blister packs. So as Euphie mentioned - it is quite possible to get them with a faulty o-ring even when brand "new".

It is my belief that they cannot be rebuilt. I would really like to be corrected in this one, since I have several leaky fittings that I would like to salvage.

As for better options - I would also like to know. Both swivel fittings, and non-swivel in anodized aluminum would be appreciated.

I found a couple products that might work, but they're prohibitively expensive, probably don't have a good form factor and may or may not have the proper pressure rating.

Ideally there would be something like CCM macro fittings, just with 1/8 nptf ports on the banjo.
