Anyone ever made a marker with a pneumatic limit switch?

Has anyone ever used one of these type of pneumatic switches? I have seen Smav subminiature valves in quite a few things and autococker three ways but, I have never seen one of these before I bought this. Looking up on the Data sheet at 75 psi it should have like 2lbs of trigger pull, which isn't super light but I have been thinking about trying to make something with it, but I was wondering if there was a reason not to, since I have never seen one there might be a pitfall I am unaware of.

If you look at the scale with the microswitch and the Cherry Mx keycaps, you can see that this thing is massive, it uses 1/8" NPT input and output but that should be easy enough to adapt to 10-32 and then barbs.

It all depend what marker you want to use it on, but 75psi is not a lot... mech ion or other marker run at higher pressure

I figure 75 PSI should be more than enough for most things with an LPR. The goal as it stands is to use an asymmetrical ram and put 50ish PSI into the rearward piston, and when the trigger is pressed hit 50 PSI into the forward piston and using the size difference between the pistons to ensure I can get forward motion. I want to connect this asymmetrical ram to a spool valve of sorts. This would be an excellent excuse for me to buy a lathe of some sort.

How are you venting the ram? Without releasing the 50psi, you'll have an air cushion that slows the movement drastically.

Soooo, I think you just described how a Thumper works. In the case of the Thumper the constantly 'charged' side of the piston is the dump chamber, and pulling the trigger re-routes air to the large side of the piston so it pops open and fires.

I had an idea for something where I want the ram to move fairly slow, like I wanna try and make something real quiet, so at least the concept is to have it reset quickly with a qev and everything but activate as slow as is workable.

I have plenty of fast guns, I also have reliably mechanical guns, so I was thinking what could I try that is truly different? So naturally some sort of custom spool valve first strike sniper built into like an old Mauser stock or something sounds like a plan. The idea being you can also hold the trigger to make the sound of venting the ram and recocking disconnected from the sound of the shot. I have also been thinking if it shoots slowly enough (bolt action maybe?) and is large enough you could operate at really low pressure as your dump chamber could be massive.
