    Removing Cloudiness From JT Parts

I have an IZE that has some cloudiness in it. After I took these pictures I rubbed the parts with olive oil and that cleaned up the plastic parts nicely. The rubber parts of the bottoms still look pretty dry. Any other recommendations for what to use? Tire cleaner? I asked to same thing in a JT group and the olive oil is all I got so far.

No idea if it would work, but what about that plastic stuff they sell for refreshing automotive trim?

That sounds like it would work. I'm looking for products people have used before because the last thing I want is to put something on and have a bad reaction with the bottoms. Olive oil seemd like a safe thing to try.

I've used the auto stuff on auto parts before, but not on paintball gear. Worr13 makes s good point, not sure if that stuff is good to have near your face like that

Isn't there a "magic dip" that the JT guys use for clear bottoms to clean them up? It's oxyclean and something else. Looks like oxidation on the plastic which is why it makes me think that might work.

"sea glow" cleaner is used on clear/ICE type sneakers. There's a an old tutorial on pbn on how to do it to a jt ize mask.

This is what is used to fix clear parts but it will work on IZE parts. Is a combo of UV light Peroxide and Oxy clean.

If it’s just black you can use black shoe polish it will even cover up light scratches and shell marks.

I wonder if you could just use hydroperoxide and uv light. Basically the same idea behind retrobrite.

Probably can. I have used the method above and it definitely works.
