No replies yet? Man, this thing looks like itll be sweet once done.

for one, Im a chronic low baller so tKe that how ya want.

my closest reference is my viper. I got a 13" small bore viper this summer locally. 300 cash. The owner insisted thats all it was worth. I was ready to pay more.

that being said, this has wood with it which typically seems to bring the price up.

Im gonna say in todays market as turbulant as it is, this sells at 375-450.

It should be more like 525, but I honestly dont think anyone would bite at that judging on the other nice brass markers that sit at that price point.

If I had the cash, ( and the need for another sheridanesque shooter) Id offer ya 350 knowing itll need some work. But thats my lowballer mentality.

Thank you for your input! Projects are a lot more difficult to price so I really appreciate your input. I haven't seen any RTP markers for sale recently so even a starting point is awesome. I really appreciate it my friend.

Brass market is weird right now. I've seen sheridan pistols moving for $200+ like PMI-1's and P-68sc's upward of $250 which to me is insane. On the other hand sheridan rifles have been sitting unsold with price tags of $300. Hard to gauge things right now.

My uneducated guesses match BrickHaus. I'd go $350-400 as it sits as a conservative estimate. Could fetch up to $500 to the right buyer.

Seems like a solid valuation if you are both in the same ballpark!
      Thank you very much.
Much love for all the help!

finding the right buyer with be rough ...

seams like small pistol goes for nearly the same as full gun and stocked ones ...

      Gorgeous stock!

I think rifles are a hard sell because frankly, they suck to play with - they're hard to aim and KP stocks are too short/small. I went pistol grip on all my stocked stuff for that reason.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

They are definitely an acquired taste ... And it does not add to the price, and slow the sale a bit ...

I have a Pirate as well. Against popular opinion I prefer the full rifle stock! Then again I am on the smaller side so it works out.

Don't get me wrong, I love full stock!
But for stock class, I (usually) prefer pirate, find it easier to rock ...

It's really a shame rifles aren't moving as well as they used to. I remember when they were all the rage and would fetch enormous prices. Heck I remember paying like $150 just for a blue streak stock and trigger group. Alas they are hard to actually aim with goggles on but hardly anyone uses brass on the field in anger anymore. I know mine are mainly backyard shooters and relics of a time long ago when a gun could suck as bad as a Sheridan and still be competitive. Heck even a BE nightmare was a competitive gun and you don't even see them in working condition anymore.

I still regularly take my sheridan to the field and am "competitive" ... At least as much as I can with a stock class pump surrounded by electo ...
last outing I held my weight with my Walzz Loong rifle on 2v2 (all other players had electro).

Barrel bore it the main thing to "fix" or overcome to really use them on the field ...

I used sheridans almost exclusively last season and held my own. I even still make runs like I have a semi and awkwardly pump while running.

Granted all of my sheridans are open class at this moment. Im going to have to slow down a bit when my WALZ build arrives.

That being said, the people who appreciate sheridan based shooters seems dwindling. And of that group most of us have a few really nice builds already, so selling one seems to be a harder endeavor than it used to be. You essentially have to have the right configuration for your buysers desires.

When a new player looks at a sheridan, or holds one for that matter. They feel a heavy gun, with a stiff pump stroke. Compared to most modern pumps, they dont feel great in the parking lot. ( I let people hold mine, and offer to let them field them.) A lot of people turn me down because they wanna keep using their own electro. But sheridans shine when you pull the trigger and they make that signature brass sound, and your ball flys straight as an arrow.

BrickHaus, I think you hit it right on.If it feels like the market has shrunk for brass, it's because anyone who wants one, has one. Goes for PPS stuff too...

And the proprietary valve tool seems to scare people too, for some reason. 🙂
