    making a Co2 siphon tank

rebuilt a few tanks with anti siphon tubes... now i have a glorious 68 special build about to be competed and I need to take one of my old tanks and make it a siphon.

been using 1/4 NPT - 1/8" compression fitting with 1/8" flexible copper tube for my anti siphons - assuming I use longer tube pointed to the lower rear of tank and make the tank specific to the gun.....but

I recently saw a buddy's 68 special that had the OG siphon tank with it and you could hear the tube clanging around like it had a weight on it and would always be a dip tube regardless of the gun

so - experts - anyone know what they used to do that or have advice for making up a siphon tank in general?

There should be a guide from doc on this. I believe he used microline with a fitting on the end as a weight.

This thread may have the information you seek:

Hello Experts :) We still use CO2 here and I have to build siphon tanks. What are the fittings that we are supposed to use? Where is best place to get the fittings and hose in bulk? Best, Smiley

Thats the ticket! that thread did not show up when I searched for some reason

looks like macroline is the key. anyone have a good source for 1/8" macroline - much harder to come by for some reason
also is there a prefered compressio fitting for use with macroline - the yor-loks on mcmaster have 2 part sleaves.
