    Diamond Labs Titanium Bolt?

Acquired this bolt this past weekend at an old pro shop buried in a display cabinet, got if for next to nothing, was wondering if it could really be titanium? It has that look and the weight feels right. Was also wondering how rare it might be? I can't find a reference photo to compare, only the aluminum diamond labs version.
    Thanks for any info

Yours looks it. Here's of pic of mine and another of an advert from years gone by. The titanium ones weren't produced to the numbers the aluminum ones were so they are more scarce. Great find!

Yes the blue ones were very low grade titanium. The aluminum ones were black and fragile because they were so thin

Yes. And I think the weight difference between the two is minute.

scottieb, aluminum and titanium are nearly identical in weight for any given size cut. The difference is titanium is much stronger than aluminum, and can therefore be machined thinner. That's where the weight savings comes in.

But in the late 90s/early 2k titanium was a buzz word, and buzz words made money.

If it’s heavier than aluminum and made by diamond labs, it’s titanium
