Bob Long Victus Air Leak

Anyone on here familiar with the the Victus?

My son's Victus has developed a leak that appears to be coming from the manifold under the solenoid. I removed the solenoid and checked the o-rings under a magnifier and they seem fine. While i was there I did replace the o-ring between the frame and body for the main airway. I don't have replacements for the solenoid o-rings at the moment but before I order some I thought I'd ask for a second opinion.

The Victus is an Insight, FYI, so the same rules apply. You'll find a bunch of historical threads using Insight as the search criteria instead of Victus.

As for your issue, you might as well replace all of the manifold seals - they're all 1mm x X metric seals. At this point, they're going on 8-9 years old if original.

The solenoid itself really shouldn't be leaking so I'd start with replacing the solenoid outer seals and manifold seals. You may also want to check that the HPR schrader valve isn't leaking - to do that, remove the HPR, leaving on the schrader valve in place and gas up the gun. If the schrader leaks, it's bad and needs to be replaced.

The manual doesn't cover the manifold o-rings but I've located a complete o-ring kit from Captain o-rings that has them.
And should I use Molykote 55 when assembling to swell the o-rings?

It doesn't much matter if you use Dow 55 or not. However, that's not a bad application for it.

Be careful with Captain Oring - their seals tend to be of poor quality, especially if they're colored.

You're much better off buying what you need from here - I would snag a 1mm metric kit and an AS568 (SAE) -0 kit, which will cover most of your bases. For any of the non-O cross section seals, such as U-Cups or square seals, they'll also have you covered.
