I acquired 8 rental Tippmann 98's for the kids camps I'm doing this month. I knew that since they were sitting for 10 years that they were going to need some work but I really haven't taken apart 98's before. I work on all kinds of other markers but now that I took the first one apart I'm stuck.
I found out why they would cycle but weren't going forward far enough to really project the paintball. There was paint caked in the front of it between the feedneck and barrel. I cleaned all that out and lubed it. It seems to be moving all the way up and back now smoothly.
But the manual I found online doesn't really show me how the trigger assembly all goes back together. I was aware that there were springs that tend to fly out. I have them all but I don't know where the parts all go. The sear won't go anywhere and seem to fit and move like I expect. Anyone have a link to a great picture of one assembled or video that would help me?
