ANS Gen-X 2 Reg and automag compatibility

So I recently watched this video on breaking down and rebuilding an ANS Gen-X 2 Regulator (because I have one), and also pulled apart my new (to me) automag. I was surprised to see that the regulator backs, spring stacks, seats, over pressure protection, and valve pin all look really similar.

Since AGD no longer sells velocity adjustment screws, do you all think these are compatible? I know ANS made 'mag parts in the past, so it wouldn't surprise me if they directly ripped off the 'mag regulator specs to build their own HPRs.

From what I remember you have to replace all internal parts from one to the other. No mixing and matching. The adjustment screw can be switched without issue though. You can also take the bottom of the ANS reg off and screw it to the mag valve to save some weight.
