Stupid question about a Mini feedneck

This is a dumb question but I'm a little stumped on how to correct this. I bought a mini and it shoots great but the feedneck won't clamp to the body tight anywhere but backwards. If I move it anywhere else it is loose even when it's all the way down. I was going to back out the threaded bottom section but it will swivel around when I do that.

If this is a new marker, contact the manufacturer and they should send you a replacement feedneck. I have heard of this problem before.

If you bought it used and it gets reasonably tight you could loctite the top on to the stub.

Sounds like the threads are aligned oddly?
You could try a thick o-ring on the base as a stop-gap to change the alignment.
