Rescued this from someone who was quitting the game and about to literally trash it, but it needs some help to get back to slinging paint. I have already ordered an ID hammer, but what sort of body is this? is it mid block, half block, mini? I don’t know the difference between the cuts on the work. Also, where can I get a dual rod bolt sled for this thing? The one on it currently is chewed up and on its last leg. I want to get this thing back to useable if possible. Whoever cut the hammer in there now literally did it with a Dremel and doesn’t appear to have had a clue what they were doing. Thanks!

Looks to be a 04 WGP body, Palmers reg, Shocktech ASA and that CF barrel you did good for free. Dose the Gat pump kit have two pump rods? Normally only one I thought.
I would definitely try this one and just use a single rod. Especially with the inception lower. Probably all you would need to get it up and running providing nothing needs a rebuild.

If it was mine, I would find a nice Frame like a mozak maybe a WGP vendetta pump kit and send it to bearfoot coating for one of those wacky color change Cerokote job they are doing. Wouldn’t have to much into it all said and done. It would make a sweet pump.

Looks to be a mid-block, there sled slides under the upper body still while a half block has the uppper body fuller removed, so slide on top of the lower body only. That hammer is a thing of horrors. I’d visit Autocockerparts and get a nice slice kit for it and whatever else you need/want. The Slice kit will have the additional support rod to keep the pump kit from twisting. That’s an old WGP style pump which twist easily.

What’s chewing up the sled? May want to figure that out. It may need a little deburring around the cut work also. They make lil covers for the eye holes to you can get.

The threads cut into the sled are VERY close to the edges, and on the opposite side the threads broke through the side of the sled itself and opened it up. The pump does have dual rods, but if it’s just as stable with one then I will go that route. I guess chewed up wasn’t the right term, sorry. The cuts in the body were done extremely cleanly and professionally from the look of it, but I think the sled they went with was just a cheap option.

Nifty, they turned an old basic WGP pump handle into a dual rod. Cool, but also will make it more finicky. You may be able to get an Empire Sniper bolt sled and make it work, that's the only dual rod that is probably readily available. I see it on PB Gateway's site.

Oh that’s a dam good idea. I bet that would work. You will need to get those rods tightened down square so they don’t bind. lil on the right lil on the left back and forth till you get them on. Use a lil light hold lock tight to keep them from moving. You could probably just get away with the hammer and empire sniper sled.

Well I just ordered a sconi clamping feedneck and the empire sled for a couple more upgrades. I’ve got a freak barrel I can throw on here too, that carbon fiber barrel is marked at .689 so it’s not gonna do much good on there.
thanks for the info everyone. I will update after the first round of parts get cobbled together!Last edited by GanonsGrin; 08-29-2022, 04:10 PM.

That poor hammer, I'm not against people trying their hands at modifying but god take some pride in your work. Dremel it to rough shape the break out some good files to finish it up and dress the edges. Good for you trying to recover this and good luck.
Always like the idea of Mid-Blocking an Autococker/Sniper but they always look incomplete when compared to Full Body or Half Block.

It looks much worse in person. The cuts are not where they need to be, sloppy, and the edges are all very rough. This belonged to my brother who stepped away from the game so I’m trying to fix it and keep it around in the event he does come back (and better not try to throw his gear away again).

To clarify, he did not do the work. It came to him as it sits now, which is probably the reason why he was trying to get rid of it to begin with

Its a nice midblock WGP 2k4
appart from the midblock cut the body look standard (full block length)
the cut make it somewhat similar to a WGP SR at the back
If you have a 3d printer you can print your sled too, for pump its strong enough and easy to make
For the hammer the only issue I found previously with those kind of build is the hammer from the different manufacturer seem to have different spec (distance between the end of the cut to the pin). I have a preference for shorter groove since I found a combination issue on my midblock cocker once where the frame, hammer and body milling combination that made it impossible work (the hammer was not moving far enough to latch on the sear).
I dont know if empire use nornal spec for their hammer, sled and bolt💀Team Ragnastock💀

A few place holders from my parts pile until all of the pieces I ordered come in. I had all of these parts set aside for another sniper build, but I think this frame works on this one so it might get to stay. I think it’s a Taso humpback but it’s not marked at all and I don’t know my cocker parts IDs very well. New hammer and sled still on the way.
