I normally run the light valve spring from a Spyder spring kit with my Evil valve, due to the 1-piece plastic stem/cup seal.
However, I have my Evil Spyder apart, and I have an AKA valve spring sitting here. Since I am already waiting for my AKA feedneck for this Spyder, I kind of figured "why not"?
But the AKA valve spring is significantly heavier than the lightweight spring I have in there currently.
Think the extra tension will snap the head right off its wee-little neck?
I was thinking of trying AKA springs in my pump Omen if the SLPS springs proved to be TOO super light... so this question also applies to that.
