    AGD 2K9 velocity issue fix?

Automag 2K9 fix. I really don't know a lot about the 2k9s. But from what I understand they had velocity issues. Now I ended up with a whole bunch of these that were supposed to be the fix for those bodies. Tell me what are your thoughts?

Those are not the fix for the velocity issues. There were two issues with these bodies.

    1. Was the velocity. Most could not get it above 280, still cant. Luke figured out the issue and offered mill to fix this for a very short time.

    2. Was people after several uses noticed that the bolt was making the body mushroom where the bolt was hitting the body on the inside. PTP had said that they had used a stronger aluminum that the steel oring was not needed, guess it was.

That is what you have. Ring to put in front of the bolt so it does not damage the body inside.

If I remember correctly there were a few people that did not have the mushroom issue or velocity issue. But those were using xvalve. And stopped using the it until they got the ring.

I do not remember if they reported back with any velocity issues after using the ring.

Had velocity issues with any valve I put in mine. The ring made it worse, but even without it my xvalve wouldn't go above 260 without venting.

So, basically one would have to find out the OD ones body is and then match up the ring shown? Or would it be guess work?

Basically drop it in. If it slips in and bottoms out all the way it should be fine. It's the ID that the valve goes into that matches up with the cup. The ones I saw were all just in the body loose and fell out when you took the valve out. They aren't meant to be friction fit or pressed in.

I was wondering on the different sizes that you have. I do not remember them saying or asking different ppl what sizes they had. They just sent out two rings for each body people ordered.

I would think all bodies would be the same size right. Or maybe it difference between the classic, xvalve or bolt used.

I emailed Luke's about a year ago, he said he will no longer do the work.
