How Are Sheridan KP Rifle Bodies Assembled?

I'm curious as to how Sheridan KP rifle bodies are assembled.

Are they silver soldered, brazed or just plain soldered?

A friend is trying to remove a valve retaining nut on a KP2 and it's stuck. I just want to know what level of heat can be safely applied.

It's silver soldered ... But I wouldn't put more heat than an hair dryer puts out if you're planning on taking the tubes off ...

Is flood it with penetrating oil for a few days and gently tap it to help loosen. Use a good tool and go at it gently.
