Trilogy Pro SF valve missing retaining screw

Recently purchased a trilogy pro sf (probably for more than it’s worth but whatever) and I am tuning and rebuilding the thing and lo and behold there is no valve retaining screw holding the valve in place. Is this normal? Or am I without a much needed screw?

If I remember right the trilogies have nothing else besides the screw to hold the valve in so you would need it for sure

Are you talking about the one in the bottom or the one in the rear of the valve chamber that you need a valve tool for? Trilogies and other 11/16ths valve'd guns don't have a rear retaining screw, only the bottom one.

Oh yeah, trilogies don't have those. Only the screw in the bottom of the body

Trilogies don't have that one.

Trilogy's only have a brass screw on the bottom, like Spyders.
