    Automag Rebuild and Parts

    Hello Everyone,

im working on rebuilding a automag classic. I’m going to buy a rebuild kit from AGD.

also is there a place to buy spare parts ? (I believe I saw someone on MCB in the past selling all sorts of spare automag parts)

    Any other suggestions recommendations ?
    (should I add a lvl 10)

    thanks

Level 10 is absolutely a good piece of technology, but in my experience as long as you have the right barrel (which more often than not means a Doc adapter) and/or intact barrel detents level 7 is fine.

New you don't have a lot of options, but there are some small shops that still make mag stuff. Secondhand I would just post up a WTB thread here.

superman deals in automag used parts.

tunaman5 has factory stuff, including things that AGD runs out of or no longer carries.

LukeAO has new custom automags and parts.

This way to the rabbit hole.

I am hoping to be able to offer some new stuff in the future too. Still some ways off though.

I've got some spare parts. Well, it's a full build without the macroline. Never aired it up though. Coincidentally, I probably bought most of it from superman, lol!

To somewhat piggyback, is there a parts list for the bits in the rebuild kit? I've a couple incomplete valves and am unsure exactly where everything is fitted.

My advice if you are going to keep and use your mag for some time to come would be to get an extra spring pack and reg piston now. I don’t believe they are being made anymore.
