    Backyard Chrono Station?

I tech a lot of stuff at home, and up to this point I've been using the ol' yellow handheld. But I'd like something a bit more accurate, not handheld, and, primarily, a stand-alone unit.

I don't need many bells & whistles, it just needs to display velocity. Initially, I was just going to snag a big red, but I'm open to other options. Let's ignore budget for now, as a theoretical discussion, but I do indeed have a budget in mind (spoiler alert, it is low).

I use a Caldwell ballistic one. It's pretty good. It also has an app for your computer/phone to further analyze the data (more for those reloading, but still a cool feature).

I like the one that comes with its own stand. A
Do you have any issues with it, or any cons that go with the pros?

My father in law uses one of these, you don't necessarily need the halo hoops installed on it either but it's a pretty good chrono for a pretty good price

I've only ever used a yellow handheld. They do have their limitations though

I use Tapatalk which does NOT display comments. If you want me to see it, make it a post not a comment.
