How to Repair Rainmaker Feedneck?

So my impulsive Co-worker bought he and his two son's Axes and Rotors for some Outlaw ball up here. So I decided to dust off a tournament grade electro I had in a box to get it running to teach them a lesson. Well, not the best sign that as soon as I put the hopper on the feedneck fell off.

What are my options? Do I just super glue it back in? Is there a better option, than the stock one? I really hate the stovepipe, and would love a locking feedneck. I know my options are limited!

I believe they were glued and maybe pressed fit too ...

I was about to remove the feed neck to one of mine to make a SC pump, let me know if you want to swap.

I had one do this, they were glue in on the original run so epoxy would work.... Now would be a good chance to make a custom feedneck to glue in its place though

I usually just mix up some 2 part epoxy/JB Weld to hold it in, but make sure the neck is centered properly so you don't jam up the bolt.


If you cut the neck just below where it flares out there's just enough to fit a universal Lapco clamping neck... I've done it on a couple of mine.

I sent mine to nummech for their custom feed neck adapter. Probably the sturdiest thing on my Rainmaker.

like several feednecks it was likely green loctited in place. Hard part is getting it lined up when pressing it in.

Drill/tap the top of the body for a Spyder feedneck?

My old one wasn't even pressed in, it slid into place. At a big game I used red Loctite to put it back on. After letting it set for about twenty minutes, i was able to use it. I forgot about it after that and didn't have any more trouble in the little i used it.
