Any tips on getting these off their frames? I have their tool to get it back on, but it won’t come off. Is it just a matter of a hammer and punch?

Rip or hinge frame?
Edit: probably doesn’t matter.
Looks like you just push the pin in on the driver side of the frame past flush. Might be tricky if you don’t have that red oring filling the groove. Careful not to lose the ball or damage the spring.
I just tried it in my rip frame. It’s a tough spring, but use something soft. If you have an armorers block that will make things easier. -
Don’t use a hammer and punch. Just use a dowel or pen/pencil and push.Comment
